    Kel, you have an interesting perspective. That’s so great that it worked out for you and your husband, but you’d still like your kids to wait until they have a little more life experience under their belts. Thanks for sharing!

    I was engaged at 20, married at 21. It was probably the stupidest thing I’ve ever done. Twelve years and three kids later, I have no regrets. We were a good match then, we’re a good match now. There’s been fights, marriage counseling, tears but he’s still my best friend. We still make each other laugh. It’s good.

    That said, if any of my kids announce their impending marriage at the ripe ol’ age of 20 I’ll have a stroke.
